JEWELLERY PRESERVATION

  • Remove jewellery before showering, sleeping and exercising 

  • Apply lotions or perfumes before putting jewellery on

  • Avoid wearing jewellery while using harsh chemicals (E.g household cleaners, bleach, etc.) as these can damage the gold plating

JEWELLERY STORAGE

  • Store jewellery away from direct sunlight or heat

  • Try to store jewellery pieces individually in order to avoid scratching

  • Avoid storing your jewellery in the bathroom or any other humid areas

Jewellery is bound to wear and tear over time, however proper upkeep will prolong that tarnish period. Please keep in mind that for gold-plated pieces, multiple factors affect the tarnishing process such as natural skin oils, sweat levels, PH levels of the skin, personal care products, etc.
